Inter-Faith Treasure House is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing food, clothing, and emergency assistance to children and their families who are in crisis in the Camas/Washougal area. Inter-Faith Treasure House is the safety net of the community. It functions almost entirely with the help of volunteers and donations. Our photo gallery shows how we help the community.

One of Treasure House’s main purposes is to distribute food to families in need in East Clark County. The principal source of perishable and non- perishable food is food donated from local stores. Treasure House needs to buy a van to reliably schedule donated food pickup.
The Camas-Washougal Community Chest is challenging our local community to help meet our transportation needs. They have offered to match dollar for dollar any donations received during May, June, July 2014 up to a maximum of $5,000.

Please help Treasure House raise at least $5000 in these three months so we can take full advantage of the Community Chest’s generosity.

Thanks to all those readers who "Stuffed the Van"
Local children participated in a program to move food from the library to the van. This program rewarded kids reading books where every book they read resulted in one item of donated food. According to the librarian, over 2000 items were collected for total weight of 1009 pounds. Well done!!
